An Open Letter to Brands and Agencies: Stop the Reel Madness!

Dear Brands and Agencies,


We're here to deliver some tough love: Your Instagram strategy is failing. The endless stream of uninspired Reels is not only clogging our feeds but actively damaging your brand's reputation. Engagement is plummeting, creativity is nonexistent, and your message is getting lost in the social media noise.


It's time to admit you're doing it wrong. Stop chasing fleeting trends and start focusing on what truly matters:


Ditch the Reels Obsession: Reels are not the be-all and end-all of content. They're oversaturated, often unoriginal, and rarely provide the depth your audience craves.

Embrace Carousels and YouTube: These platforms offer opportunities for storytelling, education, and genuine connection. Carousels allow for more in-depth engagement, while YouTube provides a platform for long-form content that can truly resonate.

Prioritize Authenticity: Stop regurgitating the same tired trends and start showcasing your brand's unique personality. Be bold, be different, be real. Consumers can smell inauthenticity a mile away.

We get it. The pressure to produce content is relentless. But churning out mediocre Reels is not the answer. It's time for a serious re-evaluation of your social media strategy.
